Weebles wobble but they don't shoot Tens

Post by jabberwo »

Hi,

I wonder if any of you better shooters have any tips to help me with my air gun and bullseye slow fire. I don't know how to shrink my wobble area. In both disciplines about 1/3 of my shots are 10s, but then I always get one or two, out of 10, 7s as well. I shot a gallery match 96 slow fire once this year, but can't tell you why -- my average is 85. For both Timed and Rapid I'm averaging 96; so its slow that hurting me.

thanks,
Jab

I'll bet you are pulling the trigger slowly and carefully in slow, but pulling straight through in TF & RF when you don't have enough time to make it perfect. Trying to shoot perfect shots is a sure-fire recipe for flyers.

Don't shoot TF in slow, but use your TF trigger pull. Settle and pull the trigger. Don't mess around. Good enough is better than perfect.
