Hill pump cylinder adapter

Post by Kloss »

Hi guys,
I just got a Hill pump from Pyramid Air. I figure out that the adapter for the cylinder is missing.
Now, I understood from Pyramid Air customer service's email, they are not going to send me an adapter.
Do you have any idea which adapter is included in the box? So i will buy a new one. Obviously not from Pyramid Air.

Thanks.

When I had a Hill pump, many years ago before I ditched it in favour of a tank, I just screwed the adaptor that came with the gun straight into it.

Mine didn't.

So does the gun's adaptor screw into the one you say you are missing?

Nope. A friend recharged my cylinders with his Hill pump and the adapter came with the pump.

Interesting.

What make of cylinder? Steyr, Morini, Walther, Matchguns etc all need different adaptors.

Thinking back, there might have been a DIN adaptor that screwed into the pump, and then the gun's adaptor screwed into that.

(It just shows how often I used it before deciding it was too much like hard work)

Nope. They don't. They are all standard 200 DIN; and it is what my pump is missing.....Thanks Pyramid Air.... even not be able to tell me what adapter I needed.

Pyramyd is pretty weird on this. They show & describe the pump without the DIN adapter (which is a standard accessory if you order from Pilkguns). As a matter of fact, Pyramid doesn't mention the need for one, or list a DIN adapter as an extra cost accessory for the Hill pump. They sell one from AirArms for $25, but don't mention using it for the Hill pump.

You know, the problem is not if the adapter should have been in the box or not; it is that after you pay, they don't care. They don't want to answer a simple question.
I asked Pilkguns what I was supposed to need. In 5 minutes I received an email back.
