10m AP women's event

Post by litz10x »

Hi guys,

I'm thrilled to see that Sandra Uptagrafft is also representing the US in women's AP (along with her spot in 25m), but I didn't think we had a slot for women's AP this year in the Olympics. (?)

As stated in the article from USA Shooting from back in Feb: "However, the USA Shooting Team does not have a quota for Women’s 10m Air Pistol for London, so this match will not determine a women’s pistol representative." http://www.usashooting.org/news/2012/2/ ... un-in-ohio

Did something change?

Thanks!

When you win a quota spot you can double start in another event as long as you have an MQS in that event. It's like this because an athlete can only earn one quota per country.
