ISSF video - how to save?

Post by IPshooter »

Since the ISSF videos are now all flash files, does anyone know how to save them or where they might be stored using Windows XP?

I am introducing a group of ladies to air pistol and 25m pistol tomorrow night, and I would like to show them videos of how it's done.

Orbit Downloader can save the youtube videos. No direct "save as..." possible. Beware of the new 1080p files, they are HUGE :-)

Firefox has a plugin called "download helper" here:

http://www.downloadhelper.net/

I've used it on a few YouTube files and it has a large number of other web sites listed that is is effective on. It can also convert formats on downloading if necessary.

Another option is jdownloader.
As Tycho said avoid the 1080p option.
The files are huge and for watching a shooting match the 720p or even 480p are more than enough.

Thanks, all. I downloaded Orbit downloader, and it works perfectly.
