Need help choosing a 10M PCP Pistol, New -vs -Used

Got the bug to get a HQ PCP Pistol, FWB P44, Steyr LP2, Morini, you get the picture. Have range set up in basement but only shootinc Crosman 2240.
I want a really good pistol !! I did find a used Steyr LP1 for $1400 and a FWB P44 for $1500, thoughts ?? Can get a new LP2 for $1650......

The answer is to buy what fits you and feels best. The LP10 has a recoil compensator which the LP2 doesn't have. I suspect the LP1 doesn't either but I don't know.

My advice is to go try a few before buying anything.

The most popular air pistols for serious competition seem to be the Steyr and Morini. I would choose a pre-compressed air pistol rather than a single stroke pneumatic or CO2, if you are going to shoot competition. If you get a pre-compressed pneumatic, you will have to consider that you will need a scuba tank or manual pump to fill the cylinders. The scuba tank is the best option, because the air is dry.

I have had very good luck with used guns and air pistols. A good used gun can save you a lot of money.
