What new stock upgrades can you out the MAtch 54 and 64 actions into? 1907? 1913?
Ken has it. Pretty much all Match 54 target models are interchangable. The diameter of the action and the spacing and pitch of the bedding bolts hasn't changed. Match 54 sporters are different (bedding bolt location), and aren't interchnageable with 54 Target stocks.
The only caveats are with stocks that have been bedded. Often the bedding is extended for 1-2in under the barrel (the idea is to support the barrel and reduce stress on the action). A stock that has been bedded for a 1911/1913 action will take 1811/1813, and most 1411/1413 barrels, but not 1407, 1807, or 1907 barrels. The lighter 07 barrels have a conical nut at the barrel/receiver joint that is wider than the xx13 barre, som the nut fouls of the the bedding compound. Ditton 1413/1813/1913 barrels won't fit into stocks bedded for 1907 barrels. Also early 1411/1413 barreels are a different profile, and wider at the tenon than later xx11/xx13 barrels.
