Kneeling Roll Filler

What would you guys recommend as a good kneeling roll filler. I started with the stock stuff from Champions Choice (shredded rubber), but was then told that plastic "pellets" are better by the CMP. Now, at the Olympic Trials, I heard that something like sawdust is the best. Just curious.

Most definately.
some craft shops have them and they are used for in-jection molding.

Grass seeds, rice
Heavy but works well.

They work well, but attract rodents if you keep your gear in the garage.
The other issue is if you travel internationally, seeds are often not allowed.

I have found plastic pellets for injection molds worked best for me.

How long do you have to leave the bag for that to happen? :)

Good point! would rice still work since it's dry?

I personally don't like plastic pellets, they don't form around the ankle the way I like which the seeds do. But that's only my opinion and wouldn't apply to most people

plastic beads do not compress much, they do not break down, and i don't want to tell you what happens if rice or seeds get wet. plastic beads are a perminant solution.
the roll will always be the same size unless the outer material breaks down.

Any plant that makes plastic products will normally use the injection mold process. Beads / resins have to change for color, density, etc... There is a lot of waste, spillage, excess, and you can normally get the floor sweepings for free. I picked up about 26 tons from a factory that was changing product lines and all they wanted was a letter for the IRS to write it off their taxes. Normal cost is about 50 cents per pound.
