Martin and I've talked and he deliverd the quote I needed in less than 12 hours! I'd call that service.
Re: Thanks to all
If your looking at buying an electronic target system I would consider looking at other systems like Meyton (sold by Gold Medal Target http://www.goldmedalshooting.com/) or the new Sius Ascor low cost system (http://www.shotresponse.com/). They have several advantages over the Megalink System.GCSInc wrote:Martin and I've talked and he deliverd the quote I needed in less than 12 hours! I'd call that service.
First of all the Meyton System has no consumables like the rubbers and the new Sisus only uses a paper target back for shots that land outside of the black area of the electronic target. The Meyton uses a LED lights instead of acoustic microphones which makes scoring more precise. The Sisus is a hybrid were it uses LED in the Black area of the target and microphones for shots that land outside of the black area of the target.
The software is much easier and more flexible to use on the Meyton and new Sisus systems and if you need a special target or a target for a different distant you can make themselves in the case of Meyton and with Sisus I was told they will make them for you at no charge.
The systems are relatively simple to maintain as they have virtually no moving parts as they don't need rolls of rubber. The Meyton System if it is connected to the internet can be diagnosed for for any electronic problems over the internet.

Megalink
Please advise how you challenge a shot on the Meyton or Sius Ascor Hybrid systems? The Megalink has a paper record of the shot and it's placement.
I have an installed Megalink system that is three years old and working fine. Good support and service plus a large installed base of collegiate programs with Megalink.
