AHG trigger sensor

Post by Funny Farmer »

Hi all,
I have been trying to figure out wht the AHG "trigger sensor" actually does. Is it a trigger shoe that provides an extra second stage by using an integrated spring loaded device?

Does anybody use this and what is your opinion?

I think it is an unfortunate name. It is an "artificial" 2nd stage for a trigger. With a normal Anschutz 2-stage trigger, the 1st stage takeup causes wear to the sear over time. Using this device you set your trigger to single stage but still have 2-stage functionality.

I'm not sure how much a trigger wears since I have a 1983 1813 that I used A LOT from 1983 to 2009. Still works great on the original trigger.
