Pardini HP Slide Lockback?

What is required to lock the slide of an empty HP back?

I feel foolish for asking such a basic question, but I can't figure out how to do so myself and there is no mention of it in the owner's manual. Thanks for the assistance.

Nothing to feel foolish about......the gun is not designed to lock back on the last shot.

Pull the slide back, then depress the button under the barrel. Slowly release the slide.
