Question on Font hand-rest offset

Post by hardhit »

Hi All,

I have bought a new front hand-rest and this can be set in off center position, my question is, is this within the ISSF air rifle rules?

I have checked in the rule book items 7.4.2.6 and 7.4.2.7 and according to how I read this the off center setting is not a rule violation.

I just wanted to get some other opinions.

Regards,
Peter

You should be OK as long as the width of the rifle stock and rest is less than 60mm (rule 7.4.2.7.i)

Thanks for the info.
The total width of the stock + rest is 55 mm so that's fine too.
