A few days ago, I went to watch Orange Bowl International Junior Tennis Championship. Those 12 and 14 years olds can really whack those topspin
balls.
I picked up a souvenir tennis wrist sweatband. This sweatband is very tight. Much tighter than the ones I had from Bjorn Borg era in the 70's.
Today, I practiced shooting 10M AP with this wrist sweatband.
Whow, I am totally surprised by what a semi-immobilized wrist with a sweatband can do to my score. I know it MIGHT help. But I am complete surprised that I am shooting a good 20 points above my norm of 540s.
I am going to keep this sweatband in my shooting box. Just to remind me what a firm wrist can do to my score.
Has anyone had similar experience with tight wrist sweatband?

The wrist sweatband may be a good help, but I doubt if it is allowed by ISSF-rules!

Correct. The last part of 8.4.1.1.1:-gn303 wrote:The wrist sweatband may be a good help, but I doubt if it is allowed by ISSF-rules!
"The wrist must remain visibly free when the pistol is held in the normal firing position. Bracelets, wristwatches, wristbands, or similar items are prohibited on the hand, and arm, which holds the pistol."
