Will shooting 25yd slow fire targets help ,hinder, or be neutral for
10 Meter Ap training?
My scores are about the same, maybe a bit better at 25 yards.
I am also on a plateau and starting to think I may need a smaller
rear sight opening to tighten my groups. Just a sliver of light on each side.
Scores 500 -515 last two months or so.
Any comments appreciated.

Open out the rear sight and look at the front sight - at 500-515 level the last thing you need is something to distract you from focussing on and at the front sight.philip_T wrote:...starting to think I may need a smaller

As a starting point, measure the width of the foresight and then adjust the rearsight to be the same width. Then you can make small adjustments to the rearsight width to suit your personal choice. If you set this too wide, you may find it harder to obtain a tight group.
It is often easier to concentrate on the foresight with enough white either side, which helps to make it easier to determine a central alignment.
