Post by seamaster »

Wanted a match dot red dot for Christmas, attaching to my LP 10.

Do i need a rail? Need to remove rear sight?

Don't spoil a good air pistol by putting a red dot on it.

Sell it to someone who wants to use it for it's intended purpose.

The Pilkington LP-50 comes with a slot cut in it that you can use to mount a scope. The same could probably be done with an LP-10.

I have found that it makes the gun even more muzzle heavy than it already is. I think a red dot would be better mounted on a short LP-10 as it shifts the weight further back. Another option would be to get cheaper .177 pellet pistol and use that. I have a red dot mounted on a Crosman Blaser conversion unit that fits on my 1911 frame. I practice at home mostly with that and just shoot my LP-10 occasionally to confirm my hold, and triggering and adapt to the iron sights.
