We visited the Pfuhl club in Ulm and enjoyed dinner and shooting with them. This is where I met the 14 year old shooter that so impressed me. Here he is being assisted by his coach to find his natural point of aim.

Conversing with his coach after that exercise.

The back of his jacket was signed by a very famous German shooter, Sonja Pfeilschifter.

The former East German Olympic Shooting venue was just absolutely amazing. Here is Nathan standing in Ralf Schumann's personal training area. There are 4 complete bays at 25m.

The chow hall, which we had all to ourselves each morning.

Our group shooting on the 10m range. We had a great competition here and a lot of laughs.

In case it hasn't been mentioned, we really did a lot of quality eating on this tour. Here is a great place to eat if you are ever in the Zella Mehlis area.

The Waffen Museum in Suhl. Had a lot of great exhibits in there, but all were behind glass and very difficult to get good pictures.

The statue of the old rifle maker in the Suhl village square.

Looks like you are having very good weather and a great time. Good to see that you are keeping your bullseye muscle in shape with all the good food and drink!

So where is the model train layout?

There's a fantastic display in Hamburg -- even bigger than what you showed.

For Peterz, the railroad layout was near Stuttgart, and I believe the name of the town was Waiblingen. We heard about the one in Hamburg.

I took a bunch of photos in there. The detail was amazing. I really admire the kind of folks that have the drive and determination to build such things.

Hey Marc,
Please email the model RR pictures to me. I used to own a train shop and I have past customers who would love to see them.
Thanks!

Here is a video showing the futuristic German range and firearms store, including an indoor shotgun trap range. We visited this facility and it is more advanced than any shooting complex I have ever seen. Thanks to Heidi for finding this site.

Sorry, but the video narration is in German, but the videos of their ranges are worth seeing.
