I shoot both air rifle and smallbore, 3P for both. My eyes aren't bad but i do wear contacts. My plan is to buy a pair of shooting glasses but i don't know what to look for (both brand and price). Here are some questions I have:
Brand? Is it just prefernece?
Price? what am i looking at? What are good prices?
Lens size? small or big?
Please get back to me ASAP

Price Range: 185 for Knoblochs, 285 for Champion frames. Personally, I use knoblochs, as I did not want to spend 285 on the Champions. If you have the money, I would recommend the Champion Frames, as it is sometimes difficult to get the Knobloch lens far enough to the left for Offhand, and sometimes the adjustment can come loose. However, it is very easy to adjust the lens between positions. Bottom line, the Knobochs simply do the job, if you want to get premium frames get Champions. Having said all of this, even if I had the money, I would stick with my pair of Knoblochs, as they do work just fine.
I reckon you're best off, if you go see a shooting specialised optometrist. That is of course if you have one. Where I live we have one that visits all the ranges or you can call for an appointment and he'll do all your tests both off the range and on with your rifle etc.

I use Bob Jones glasses and I've been happy with them. They may look funny, but they work and are inexpensive.

lenses
I use Knoblocks, take out my contact lense, and use a .25 or .5 diopter depending on the daylight. I highly recommend "Crizal" brand lense, they have NO reflection!

- I use (30 years old) Knoblochs with a 37mm lens holder for pistol and Champions with a 23mm lens holder for rifle. As mentioned above, the large lens holders typically hit the stock for rifle. For rifle, go for 23mm.
- be aware that there is a large variation in vertex distance (distance from eye to lens holder) between brands and this WILL affect the power needed for the corrective lens. On my older Knoblochs the lens barely clears my eyelashes - some of the other brands have a vertex distance of around 20mm
