FWB 600-how to make trigger single stage

I recently bought a used FWB 600, my first air rifle. The gun came with a two-stage trigger and I would like to make it single stage. Is there any way to do this? I tried closing down the screw just above the trigger weight nob, the "slack" screw. This did shorten the first stage somewhat but did not eliminate it entirely. Any help would be appreciated.

If you work with it enough and get a few other parts you could make the FWB600 single stage. DO NOT DO THIS!!!

Due to the light trigger pulls inherent in the precision air rifle the first stage is a safety mechanism and eliminating it will render the rifle not just unreliable but unsafe.
