Service Pistol Competition

Post by ServicePistol »

Does anyone know of a forum for NRA/CMP Service Pistol Competition?
The CMP sight has a lot of discussion for rifles, but little to nothing for service pistol.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Tim

The bullseye list http://groups.google.com/group/bullseye ... l=en?hl=en has some discussion about it from time to time.

Service pistol talk

Post by motorcycle_dan »

Agreed with previous poster the google bullseye - L list would be a good place to start. It is pretty specific to bullseye type shooting so all techniques are the same. Some bullseye shooters use optics but there are some hold outs (me) who believe iron sights are capable of shooting just as well as optics.

sign up on that list and post anything about service pistol. Many will chime in with experience or suggestions.

I agree with Dan. Irons are a great way to go for as long as you can.

Many of the records that still stand were fired with irons.
