Thanks guys , 22 day a tad breezy, but my hold was OK and I worked hard at taking my time. I don't think I won a single stage, but just tried to mind myself "it's a marathon not a sprint" and it paid off. To be honest I thought someone would have had an 890' when Dave Lange told me I was on top I didn't believe him.

On the revolver, I had practiced a bit before Perry. I use a K-38 and shoot single action with a Zero bullet, I work hard at the long line since most shooters don't.

I lucked out in the Pres. 100 with a borrowed gun again, I never have owned a ball gun. I got distinguished on Don Hamilton's gun which is now in the hand of another shooter who came to use it at Perry this year. A friend had a Les Baer I could use, managed 23rd without anything but a zeroing session at the range.

for the record I used my 20 year old Pardini SP and SK ammo in the 22match.

Thanks for sharing that Greg. ... Just curious is the SK brand ammo your everyday go to practice ammo or was it available from Team Ultradot?

Just curious, did you notice any CCi SV on the line or during your browsing about the grounds, or perhaps chatting among other competitors, ... or perhaps did you notice any one particular brand that stood out?....

I was using "Special Pistol Match" gold box with green lettering. my standard ammo at this time. Over a case with zero malfunctions. On the CCI front I did not look up and down the line, but I have used CCI Green Tag in the past at Perry.

Have you finished near the top in the .22 match before?

How did your Perry score compare with your other match scores this year?

After winning the .22 match, did thoughts of winning the aggregate make it difficult to shoot centerfire and .45?

Did you fire any doubles in slow fire to take advantage of lulls in the wind?

Did you have any scoring difficulties?

Do you focus on the dot or do you follow the Zins philosophy of looking at the target?
