He mentions a custom barrel. I wonder what's not right(?) with the original barrel and what's better(?) about the Russian one. Looks like the Russians don't have much use for the "antennae."

seems like what Gartland Precision does to toz-35. takes a good base and builds on it. in Russian modified MG5 the grip seems to me more upright. also the barrel could be one tuned to ammo available in Russian federation.
i wouldn't be surprised if they changed the electronics as well
