Touch up for Morini AP?

Post by IPshooter »

I have a couple of small nicks in the finish on my 162EI. The nicks are on the side near the loading lever.

Does anyone have a recommendation for something to touch it up that will blend well?

TIA

You could try a cold blue (available at a good gun store) or just touch it with a fine point Sharpie.

If it's on the frame, I believe that is aluminum. Birchwood Casey sells an aluminum touch-up chemical. The touch-up bluing products meant for steel will not work.

Or, use a sharpie.

I've used Birchwood Casey Aluma Black on aluminum frame pistols and rifles, with small marks, with excellent results. I highly recommend it.
