2011 Long Lake Black Bear Annual Championship

Post by Ed Hall »

The 6th annual event has been sanctioned by the NRA as a Registered Tournament. As such, the price has increased by a dollar and you guys can set National Records.

As always, the Championship will be held across the third weekend in August - 19-21, with room for 10 shooters each day - total of 30. Full details can be found at:

Long Lake Black Bear Annual Championship

including the Match Program in .pdf format:

LLBBAC Match Program

We were a little thin for competitors last year, but have already seen interest in reserving spots for this year's match. The range capacity is only ten shooters per relay(day). So far, we haven't been forced to add another ten points to meet demand. Although we would hate to turn anyone away, if we are forced to do so, we will build more points, so let's overflow the line this year.

Hope to see you there.

Just an update to remind anyone who might be interested, that we would still like a few more competitors to sign up. Both, Friday and Sunday are full, but Saturday has only four shooters sharing the range. Come on out! Those other six points will be turning as well as the first four - they might as well have targets. And, besides, if we don't fill the range, there's still no need to expand...
