Match Gun GP1

Post by Doc226 »

Hello all, I recently acquired a used Match Gun GP1 from a friend. My friend did not have the carrying care and the trigger is a bit scratched. Does anyone know where I can purchase one of the molded cases for this gun.

Thanks all.

The reply is off topic but could you tell what the pistol feels, is it any good? I'm reaching the level when I need a high end pistol and I'm looking for cheaper alternative to Morini or Steyer.

I like the gun, this is my second, the first being an IZH 46. The trigger on the MG is awesome, the grips are completely adjustable and very comfortable. The gun shoots a very small ragged hole when shot from a vice at 10 meters.

I have never shot a Steyer or Morini so I cant compare to those.

GP1 is the version Maytchguns builts for Gehmann. It should have little differences from MG-1 Mechanical. We have some MG-1 and MG-1E in my country but not GP1. How good is their build quality? can you post some photos? they can be found for around 820 euros in Germany and present a good value.

I'll post some pics later.

My gun is actually the Gehmann GP 1. I know it is essentially the same as Match Guns. The CA tank is stamped Match Guns.

I am ver happy with the gun. I think it is well made and a pleasure to shoot.
