knelling roll

Post by redngary1 »

I have three sub juniors that are doing good at prone and bench air rifle. I want to take them to knelling, but I do not want to buy rolls yet. Can anyone suggest home made ideas for now?

The old standby used to be a carpet remnant coiled up into a roll and wrapped with duct tape.

Not as comfortable as the current "beanbag" style but it will get you going.

Kneeling is a difficult one. It will be more uncomfortable for them without roll, trousers and shooting shoes. And in some ways hard to 'get a taster'.
