Toz grip screw

Post by SMBeyer »

Anybody know what size the grip screws are for a TOZ 35. I picked up a used one from CDNN and it is missing two. Larry's has them according to their web site but wwas hoping to be able to get them locally if possible(and hopefully for less than $20 a piece). If i cant find any does anybody think tapping the holes just a bit larger for American screws would work?

They are metric: M3. You can get them at a very well stocked hardware store or try McMaster-Carr. I bought a bag of long, cheese head screws (yeah, that's what they are called) in stainless, p/n: 91800A130, and cut them to length as needed.

I'm not sure about tapping the frame - that metal is pretty tough and then you will have the problem of getting the head to fit in the inlet washer that's already there.

Roger,
Thanks, went to Ace Hardware and they had a pretty good assortmant. $.37 seems like a lot better than $20. Scott
