EeKS bLACK PATCH...black patch :-)

Last week as my thrice weekly practice drew to a close, I thought hey why not run a patch down the LP10 barrel just for fun?

And so after taking a length of weed wacker line and a small square of cloth lubed with wd 40 (i waited till the patch rained the excess out) and pulled it out from the barrel end.

Horror of horrors, the patch came out black. Naturally I sent in a few more till they came out white. I have about 3000 pellet thru my pistol barrel. When you look at the barrel, normally it looks clean, but this quite a revelation. Off late I have been shooting cheaper pellets which seem to shoot okay in the LP 10, maybe that is what caused it.

So it seems like I have another excuse to fondle my LP 10 :-).
