I want to know the best front insert size for strart shooting 50m prone rifle.. I start with 4.0 , its good this size for starting ?

4.0 is fine for starting, assuming you are using a standard length barrel. Typically, the range of is 3.6-4.2 but better to err on the larger side. If you are using an extension tube you will require a larger size.

Read J.P. O'connor's column in the current USA Shooting News. It has a chart giving starting values depending on eye to front sight radius.
