I have an early 90s' gap and second round of both magus don't go off? like the trigger doesn't reset, i drop the mag, cycle the slide reinstall the mag and shoot 4 more shots with out a problem

Does the round feed into the camber? Have you cleaned the magazine? There are two cup shaped divots at the top on either side of the magazine these tend to fill with bullet lube and gunk, they can cause feed failures.

You might check that the chamber is clean and no ring exists there. This is an area that gets ignored when cleaning which results in round not being pushed hard enough into chamber resulting in failure. You might also have a worn out magazine spring which when fully loaded where the spring would be most compressed does not push the next round up fast enough. This combined with dirty magazine as stated above can cause issue. Also recoil spring could be worn out which causes poor pickup of next round. Try Earls repair for that part.

Wow spell check ? sorry. I thought the mags were clean.? The slide does pick up the round but it seems the trigger doesn't re set. I'll do a good cleaning and try tomorrow. Thanks for the replies
