Compare 300 metre rifle

I intend to purchase a free rifle for the 300 metre rifle competition. Question is to choose between brands keppeler ,tanner or grunig and elmiger.can anybody advise.[/b]

In terms of barrels and actions, any of them will do quite nicely. Stocks are obviously a very personal choice. I will say, however, that the Tanner is the only one I haven't tried, and it does seem very nice. However, for the same money as the Grunig, you can have a Bleiker barrel and action, and it is a cut above in terms of smoothness and finish. While it probably won't be any more accurate, at least in a meaningful sense, it's smoother and has a noticeably better trigger. That, to me, makes enough of a difference to take the Bleiker every time. Would love one in a nice Anschutz thumbhole stock for 300m shooting, but I've no cash these days.
