Its a Pain
First thing I would try is a smaller hand stop. Next I would make sure the rifle was resting against the heel of the thumb and with my relaxed fingers angeled toward the front of the position and the weight of the rifle carried by the bones in the forearm just at the base of the wrist.. I would move the hand stop just a bit toward the muzzel of the rifle and loosen the sling one or two holes. And last, adjust the but plate a bit longer to take presure off the sopport hand and transfer a tiny bit the my shoulder. and I have never been a world class small bore shooter so take this for what it is worth.
