under 25M rapid fire pistol.

The shooters would practice with a dummy grip with trigger before their actual shots.

Where can I buy that dummy grip with trigger?

Seamaster ,

at what time in the video do you see the grip with trigger?

It is through out the duel competition. Right before each actual shooting, they would practice, simulate shooting with this grip/trigger device. Once warm up, they would commence actual shooting.

I see at least two or three of the competitiors use it. It look like a grip with trigger, with a hanging cord attached to the bottom of the grip.

Looks like an excellent device to have. The ISSF top shooters are using them.

They made those grip/trigger themselves? I don't think so, since each one has a hanging loop attached to the bottom. It looks like a commercial product.

Has anyone use them, and know where to buy them?

Seamaster,

I think what you are seeing is their stop watch - they use the start / stop button to time the first shot.

No one picks up stopwatch aiming at the target, trigger, trigger, trigger, trigger, trigger, follow through.

It is not a stopwatch.

Three of them used this thing. It is an anatomic grip with trigger.

I have seen lots of RFP shooters do this at competitions - fewer these days, but it is not unusual.

I second that - seen it live, shooters like Schumann using a stopwatch for this. There are stopwatches with 5 intermediary times, got one myself.

I have used my cellphone to "dry fire" in this way, playing an MP3 of the range commands +beeps for targets on and off.
Just to give me a sense of the timing when away from the range.

Where did you find your "special" watch. I've never seen that feature.

Can't remember, in some supermarket, was years ago when I used to train for RF. Nothing special really, just a stopwatch with more intermediates.
