Rear sight on GSP

Post by Reinhamre »

Is there a way of replace the original rearsight on my GSP?
I have a spare Morini rear sight if I only knew how to use it on a GSP.
Nice gun in .32 but rear sight is too flimsy.

Reinharme probably meant "crap",instead of "flimsy",as anyone who has compared the rear sight assembly on the GSP with that on an SSP, or AW93, or indeed Morini, will agree.
After having owned several GSP's over the years, I found the rear sight to suitable only for a cap gun, and not in keeping with the rest of the pistols design and manufacturing standards.
To answer your question Reinharme,...anything can be mounted from one pistol to another, you just need someone with the appropriate engineering skills and equipment to take care of that side of it for you.
I feel the modification would make the pistol a far more desireable firearm than it is with the standard rear sight.
