Post by darticus »

Anyone know how many cartridges you can fill with a 10 pound CO2 tank. Thanks Ron

The weight of CO2 the LP1 tank holds should be marked on the tank.

The tank with metal weighs 10 pounds so I can't divide into that. Just thought someone had a 5 or 10 pound tank and would know the amount of cartridges it could fill to give me a round about idea.

Hi darticus, It doesn't matter what your CO2 tank weighs; 5lbs or 800 lbs.
If it says it's a 10 lb tank, that means it will safely hold 10 lbs of CO2.
Factoring in some waste CO2 during filling of your AP cylinders, divide the
ten lbs by the fill weight of your AP cylinder and that will approximate the
number of fills you may expect. I'll leave the calculations up to you.
I have a 20 lb tank, and I don't worry or care how may fills I can get from
my many CO2 Match APs.
