Pardini GPO 22 short questions???

I have recently aquired a GPO 22 short and I am having some issues and questions.

My main question involves the chamber mouth......and I have several photos that show my concern and I can send them to you if you email me at the address below.

Anyone out there own one or have first hand knowledge of this model??
