Hey all~
Today is my last day of national service! =D getting discharged on Monday hehe
Anyway, I was looking over pictures from Fort Benning World Cup and I spotted that the FWB 700's they use don't have the gap (rail) running through the center of hand rest. Or rather, they have an insert that makes the hand rest flat. I mean the alu version of FWB =P
Is this insert standard accessory included with all FWBs? Because the FWB I'm using at my range doesn't have it =( and the gap really bothers me...
Cheers,
Mike

Hi Mike
I recently purchased a FWB 700 Alu and it came standard with the rail insert you are talking about.
I know how uncomfortable the gap is because I had to adjust the insert a bit to cover some exposed gap. As a suggestion, maybe you could tape a piece of cardboard over it until you can find an insert.
>Also, i would like to know if it's ok to dry fire the FWB with lever open
According to the manual it says "the trigger can also be operated with opened cocking lever". However it goes on to suggest this is something that might happen by accident rather than by design. "In case that by any mistake the trigger should be operated after the cocking procedure with opened bolt, it can be cocked agan via cocking lever".
