"U" Designation on Anschutz 1907 Barrel?

I've been looking at a number of Small Bore rifles for my kids and am puzzled by some of the Anschutz 1907 barrel numbering. I've seen 1907-U2, 1907-U6, and 1907-U10 designated barrels. What does the "U" designation mean?

Thought I would put this out there and hopefully become smarter.

It's a really good question... See, it is not only the barrels, but also the accessories. Some samples:

- Buttplate 4765-U4
- Muzzle tube 2013-U4
- Set of plastic apertures 6822-U14
- Peep sight disc aperture 6850-U6

Who has the answer...?
