Fitting a grip.

Post by larspawn »

I just picked up an IZH-46m with unaltered grips. Are there any guides out there on goals I should be looking for in fitting to my hand?

Thanks for any help.

Been there done that:
removed a little too much wood :-(
Dremel or similar is the ideal tool;
there's gonna be a lot of dust!

Main tip: don't be too eager, avoid making it to round.
Don't bother too much with "custom" finger slots.

Here's a very good page, in Swedish, but there are lots of pictures and many links to follow. Don't know many other places with this kind of advice. Nohlberg's web site is full of stuff!
