CM22M RF dry firing

Post by Joddi »

I've just obtained a Morini CM22M RF. While cleaning the gun I noticed that the firing pin does not seem to touch the barrel even if I push it hard forward. Does anyone know if this means it is safe to dry fire it with an empty chamber? - Joddi

Maybe you can find the answer in the user's literature. You can download a copy from here: http://www.morini.ch/cm22.htm

Also, you may contact the factory at:

Morini Competition Arm S.A.
Via Ai Gelsi 11
CH-6930 Bedano
Switzerland

tel.: +41 91 935 22 30
fax.: +41 91 935 22 31

morini@morini.ch

Hope this helps.

You can dry fire with the red plastic spacer that keeps the breech partly open inserted (you should have received one with your pistol).

When this plastic spacer is inserted, the hammer doesn't hit the fring pin at all and dry firing is safe.

I think the last firing pin I had to buy was $35. I would use the plastic gizmo.
