Targets for the Dewar match?

Post by Jason »

Does anyone know what target is fired at 100 yds. for the Dewar match? Is it the A-25 or A-33 (American) or the 1003BM (British)?

I have a new Barry Nesom flip-over foresight on the way and I want to try it out as soon as it's dry enough to get out the road to my club. Thanks!

Thanks! Which of the American target suppliers makes a better quality A-33? It's a big target so I expect to pay more and I don't want newsprint. . . .

You might try www.championshooters.com.

I've purchased many targets from them for postal competition and I've been happy with them. All the targets have been card stock types, not printed paper.

You can also order from Creedmore or Champion's Choice - I assume they are comparable to Champion Shooters target supply. Haven't heard any complaints from any of those companies.

I have heard complaints about National Target (?). I think the NRA has a link to them, but I've heard their stuff is printed on thinner paper and tears very easily, making scoring more of a challenge.
