Ive been shooting iron sights for a while now and recently shot with an optic sight and have had favorable results. Id like to mount a Optic on my Hardball pistol.
Should I consider getting a seperate pistol for optical sights?
What pistol matches, verbatim, are iron sights only? Are all CMP .45 matches and National Matches iron sights only? How about service pistol tournaments?
Red dots and scopes are allowed in NRA Conventional Pistol Matches. CMP and Service Pistol Matches are iron sights only. One caution, if you slide mount a scope, etc. on a hardball pistol and shoot factory spec hardball ammo, you might tear up the mount, mount screws or scope.
