Conversion of FWB C55 and C62 to compressed air

Has anyone converted their C55or C62 to air? If so, what parts are needed?

I wonder wether its possible. The C55 uses that little hanging cilinder, right?
There's no room for a regulator I'd say and a similar cilinder for air wont give much shots.
Most convertable airpistols have long cilinders under the barrel.
Dunno the C62. What system is that? A followup of the C60 rifle?
That míght be possible..

I don't think its possible.
The CO2 tanks are not rated to handle the pressures of CA.
CO2 in a liquid form is under 300psi the compressed air guns are over 2000psi.
You would need new tanks and regulators that could handle the pressure.
I would not even attempt, compressed air at that pressure is very dangerous if it fails.

Morini are listing a conversion kit for the FWB C55.

Indeed, it is the same as for the C20 and C25 and it is very expensive. I got a quote from Morini at more than 400Euros (the price is in CHF, Euro or USD price depends of the exhange rate between CHF and Euro or USD) ) + installation costs. Morini said that the installation must be done by a gunsmith.

Note that it replaces the hanging bottle with an horizontal cylinder like on the C20 (the C20 and C25 are identical excepted for the CO2 cylinder and its mounting piece on the pistol).

But why to convert ? FWB sells again new CO2 cylinders for the C20, C25, C55 -> if your cylinders are too old, you can again replace them with new ones.

for pistols co2 i don't think it is a problem but for rifles where the ten is a small dot, temperature and the effect it has on co2 could pose a problem. i am not an expert and i was seeking at one time at the morini-fwb conversion kit but eventually dropped it as a solution for pistols. as for rifles i don't think the number of c60/c62 are that great to justify the development of a conversion.
