Knobloch filters and questions...

Post by trinity »

I am a pistol shooter and I have Knobloch glasses. I have the 3 lens system they have that allow for different filter inserts. They also have this 'clip-on' system with full size filters.

The range of options for the clip on system is wider, and aside from the usual colour choices, there are a few clip-on lenses that are said to be "Hard & Super ET (HSET)". Does anyone know what that means? It appears to be an option. That is, for the same colour, say 35% orange, you can have the normal clip on filter, or you can have the option of having it as a HSET.

Also, there are three choices for nose pieces: K-Steg, A-Steg and 'Kunststoffsteg'. I just have the hard plastic one that came with the frame. I am wondering if one of the optional ones is softer, because the nose piece digs in and leaves quite a dent after hours of training.

Thanks!

Ahhhh, awesome, thank you very much for that information. I thought it might be something like that, but couldn't figure it out. Of course, now I google for "super ET" and it's like the 4th link. sigh... live and learn :-)

Thanks again.
