Pardini Ammo Test

I've been looking at ammo for my Pardini, so last week I shot some groups at 50 yards with RWS target rifle, CCI std plastic, and Eley sport. I came up with roughly identical groups, so I decided to chronograph them (and a few others) to see if I could find an alternative to RWS that wouldn't beat the gun to death.

Long story short it looks like CCI std in the plastic box is the one. Contrary to common experience, my Pardini has no issue with CCI ammo and shoots a nice group. I thought the CCI ammo was hotter than it was, only 30 or 35 fps faster that the RWS.

P.S. I have some of the Russian Junior ammo lying around, but I can't bring myself to use steel cased ammo in a gun I like...
