Salinas Puerto Rico 2010 - NRA and CMP Championship

Post by Fabian »

Match Report: With visitors from TX, VA, NC, SC, WV, OH, NY and from all over Island, last week we held the Puerto Rico Championship..(Rifle and Pistol) On the pistol side we had 40 shooters on the line, (2700 NRA Match and EIC Match), on rifle there were approximately 45 shooters. The Match was held under ideal weather conditions..(85 degrees - mid January - start to make plans for next year and avoid the freezing temps.) As I have posted before, the match is held outdoors, just like in Camp Perry, could be windy, could rain, but most of the time the sun is shinning and the friendly athmosphere prevails. As always, we had traditional roasted pork during the award ceremony as well as some traditional prizes. If you were unable to make this year, please start planning, is not that far, not that expensive (Plenty of options for staying - even on base), and you will have a great time. Attached please find a copy of the match results and a link for the match pictures..

ps..(REALLY EASY TO WIN LEG POINTS HERE..)

85 degrees in January! Wish I could have made it! Hopefully next year. This should become a draw and an annual mid-winter event.

Good luck with the match becoming a fixture on the Bullseye calendar.
