Would the Anschutz 8002 air rifle be the best choice for practice if your main small-bore rifle is an Anschutz 2013? I only shoot prone and visually the 8002 looks comparable to my 2013.
I would recommend a noptel instead of an air rifle. I have shot a little bit of prone with my air rifle and it seemed very easy. I think you'd get a better workout with the trainer and I have found the noptel to work really well in prone.
