Anyone know if Lou Lombardi, who made some super accurate aftermarket barrels, is still in business? I lost touch after he moved back in 2005

Try calling him at (602) 482-7333 (new location?).
He also has a website at http://www.falconmachining.com/
If you get through please let us know if he is again taking orders.
Thanks.

I tried Lou at that number today and it is disconnected. Also, his website is still saying that they will provide contact information as soon as he is again taking orders.
Anyone out there had any "recent" communications with him?
Anyone have a Falcon bbl for a Walther GSP? 22 lr or 32, doesn't matter. I need both.
Thanks in advance.

Custom GSP Barrels
Greetings Mark,
I have been machining Custom barrels for the Walther GSP and GSP-C for several years. Let me know your requirements and perhaps I can be of service.
With kind regards,

I doubt that you will hear from Lou Lombardi. I believe he really closed up the shop when he mloed a few years ago. I had 2 barrels on order for the past 6 years and have not heard from him. He stated that since his move he has not been able to set up his shop. Next time I am in the phoenix area I will try calling him again.
Walther GSP Expert Barrels
Greetings,
I have machined several replacement barrels for the GSP Expert in 32 S&W Long. The factory 22 lr barrels are hard to improve on.
Cheers,
Dave Wilson

Any thoughts on making a lined aluminum High Standard barrel like Lou has done.

Lightweight High Standard Barrels
Greetings,
The cost of having the Aluminum housing black anodized keeps me from entering into this arena. Also, I do not like to outsource my work.

Anodizing is a simple stovetop process, there is info on the net.fc60 wrote:The cost of having the Aluminum housing black anodized keeps me from entering into this arena....
An aesthetic alternative, and more durable finish, is Brownell's Aluma-Hyde.
