What are the differences between the Hammerli 208 and the 208S ???
When looking at a Hammerli 208/208S, how do you tell the difference? Are they marked 208 and/or 208S??
I ask because Im looking at getting a 208S, and I want to be sure I dont buy a 208 by accident, and I also what to know how to tell the 208S from the 208....
My guess is that they are simply marked "208" or "208S".....is it as simple as this????
Thanks for any help.

Simple yes, but not like that. I even think that none of the 208 has "208" written on it. The "S" version has the newer trigger, which a) is adjustable to your finger length and b) is way more adjustable regarding the 1st stage / 2nd stage weights. The "S" is immediately recognizable by its much larger and more or less square trigger guard. The older 208 has a smaller, round trigger guard.
