where do you place your non-shooting hand?
Just curious where do most people in this forum place their non-shooting hand?
Assume you are right handed shooter, do you place your left hand
a) in your side pant pocket?
b) on your belt?
c) if b, left of center
d) center
e) right of center
If you place it on your belt, do you
a) thumb hook on belt
b) 4 fingers inside belt

As per David, and as was advised by the coach.David Levene wrote:d), with the a) variant (thumb hooked on the belt buckle).
Consistency and comfort are important but the arm position can increase stability.
On thing I find with pockets is that they are often in slightly different places and worse, I find my hand gets real sweaty. You can just hook your thumb over the pocket, keeping the hand outside.

Non shooting hand position
With me its " A " with the arm completely relaxed. The non shooting arm and hand is essential to achieving a proper grip and that is all I use it for. Good Shooting Bill Horton
I started with A, but found it not to be natural/ comfortable, after a time moved to d-a, again here found hand position too high when using pants belt, so now I wear a separate belt (textile & breathable) solely for the purpose of getting a lower centre hand position. Also; this allows consistent hand position with different pants & even a tracksuit. I suppose a lot depends on the physique of the individual, & what is required to get a comfortable & consistant position. Joe.
