The Hämmerli FP60 is still in production for sure

Carl-Walther have updated the product pages for the Hämmerli FP60. Now in black colour instead of blue metallic, Morini grip and with a new compensator design.
This probably shows that this product will stay in the lineup for sure.

IS IT SWISS MADE???? Or is it made in Germany now???

Its good that it is still available. But to bad Walther bought and moved Hammerli to Germany.

What good news .I new that they would keep the fp 60 those of us that shoot 160s and 162s will be happy ,there are going to still be parts for some time to come .

Everything coming from "Hämmerli" nowadays is made in Germany. The Swiss operation was closed years ago, and the (not very many, if any) spares transferred to Germany must have run out by now. The last SP20 I saw was clearly marked "made in Germany". So the FP60's part of the infamous tradition of Walther free pistols by now.

Walther had a technician on a Walther European Cup and he did a good job with my FP60 and sent spare parts, free of charge.
He was not impressed that my FP60 was Swiss made though so some changes may have been added :-)

I wouldn't buy anything that was made during the last 3-4 years in Switzerland, either - that company wasn't sliding downhill, it came down like the piano from third floor...

Nope, I shoot a 162. Sorry, Kent, if I offended you and your pistol. I was only making an observation from the picture. My first impression of the trigger "blade" was that it looks like a wood screw.

No problem, I have TOZ35, FP60 and MG5. Have also had 84E!
All are good, 84E has a tendensy to go into the white to often though :-)

Maybe all the parts are made in germany now though there are still lots of fp60 parts and 160 162 parts made by hammerli still being sold+ the new walther gun is the same as the old one apart from the comensater the exploded view is on walthers web page.

I will put it like this; the 84E was not as forgiving as a TOZ or FP10/FP60.
If you do it right, then it is a 10 but we tend to be human so occasionally we/I make some error....
My MG5 and I shot 80 shots one day, before there came a 7. The day after I had 20 shoots, 9 or better (96, 95) that has never happened to me with an 84E, even if I have my personal best with an 84E.
And I have had the MG5 a few weeks.........
84E has better quality, yes, but it might be a question of balance.
If I was to do some ranking:
MG5
TOZ
84E, FP60
