Rear Sight Issue

Hi there,

firstly as this is my 1st post, hi to all on this great forum!

i have an issue with an anschutz rear sight (model 6702). the elevation adjustment screw goes tight in places when i wind up or down. its not constantly tight, and once through the 'tightness' returns to a normal feel.

now, after a couple of recent dodgy match cards that i put down to sighting error, i'm beginning to question whether this 'tightness' is actually effecting the accuracy when i have to alter the sights.

so the question is;

i) do anschutz still carry spares for these sights
ii) does anyone know if they can service it if i send it to germany, -or- what sort of warranty they have have on these (i know gehmann do a lifetime guarantee on their stuff)
iii) would they fix it at the uk national meeting (if the anschutz guys are attending this year)

Take it to Bisley, the Anschutz service team will take care of it. Colin

superb, thanks colin. you wouldn't happen to know when they are there, as someone told me they don't spend the whole week there?

They are there on the Saturday/Sunday of the first weekend 15/16 August.
They are also there (normally)up to the Wednesday 19/8/09 but this can change as it depends on what other meetings they are due to attend in Europe.
If you can get there on the weekend that's probably your best bet
Take your Rifle as well and they will service that at the same time.
